Under the landmark Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Manitoba Act (CCSM c C47), which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation is conferred upon members who have completed the prescribed requirements confirming their professional competence to practice as a Certified Management Consultant. The Certified Management Consultant designation is the profession's only international certification mark, recognized in over 40 countries. It represents a commitment to the highest standards of consulting and adherence to the ethical canons of the profession. Recipients of the CMC designation are obliged to a continuous commitment to adhere to high ethical and professional standards. CMC-Manitoba works closely with CMC-Canada to advocate for the CMC designation, to advance the profession, and to benefit members, clients and the public at large.
