These products are used to reduce starting gauge thickness to minimize plastic waste. Thinner plastic means faster cycle and startup times - higher output at lower energy costs. Optimized plug materials minimize the chance of plug mark, increase product clarity/transparency and allow for higher crush strength. Established in 1998, CMT recently expanded to include direct warehousing and sales operations in Europe. We also maintain a network of sales partners around the world. CMT specialists provide assistance with material selection for plug assist/tool board needs, design ideas, machining/processing guides and instructions for working with syntactic foam.
