He has a considerable amount of experience in Labour law. He is a Labour Law specialist with fifteen (15) years’ experience as Labour Law practitioner. C N Phukubje Attorneys is a small size professional law firm with dedicated and specialized knowledge in Labour Law. The firm has currently a total number of three (3) professional attorneys, one (1) Candidate Attorney and two (2) support staff in its full time employment. We regularly provide both written and telephone opinions and advice to clients on Labour Law related matters and legislations, which include the Labour Relations Acts, the Basic Condition of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, Health and Safety Act, Public Service Act and its Regulations and SMS Handbook. Our deep understanding of Labour law makes us well positioned to provide training to, managers, union officials and office bearers on the requirement of the Labour Law legislations. We also do the following: a. Investigate/facts finding investigation to establish possible misconduct; b. Initiate and prosecute the disciplinary matters and/or chair or preside over same; c. Represent client or defend client at CCMA and/or Bargaining councils arbitrations; d. Represent and/or defend client at Labour court and Labour Appeal Court including other superior courts such as Labour Appeal court and Constitutional court. We regularly provide assistance and guidance to clients on the conduct of disciplinary enquiries and representations in Conciliation, Arbitrations and the Labour Court proceedings.
