Istituto Nanoscienze is an interdisciplinary research center with a broad focus on nanoscience and nanotechnology. Our mission is to advance the understanding of nanostructures and nanodevices by combining fundamental research with emerging technologies, addressing key societal challenges. Founded in 2010, Istituto Nanoscienze (CNR Nano) is part of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) – the Italian National Research Council. Our laboratories and offices are located in Pisa, at the NEST Laboratory of Scuola Normale Superiore, and in Modena, within the scientific campus of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
