About CNV - Cantiere Navale Vittoria
Having built over 900 naval vessels since 1927, the Shipyard is now one of the most important companies in Italy – and is increasingly a reference point internationally – in design and building military and paramilitary vessels, as well as work and commercial ships of up to 100 meters. Total customization (E.T.O.), the latest technological innovation and top quality levels are the hallmarks of CNV built vessels; capable of working everywhere and anytime in all environmental and weather conditions. During our history we've won several tenders for the main Italian governmental organizations, such as Coastguard, Fire Brigades, Custom Police and Navy; as well as international bids in Malta, Cyprus, Libya, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Tunisia, Russia and Algeria. In the military and paramilitary field we can in fact provide several types of customized vessels for differ tactical use, such as patrol boats, fast interceptors, SAR vessels and peculiar solutions for heavy tasks and fast transport and landing. Beside Military and Paramilitary Vessels, Vittoria Shipyard has a long experience in manufacturing any kind of Work and Commercial Boat as tugs, fishing boats, dredgers, pontoons, supply vessels, cargo, passenger boats and many others tailor made solutions. The above achievements are also thanks to the Shipyard’s Technical Department, which studies the units in concert with the best designer according to the ship to be built: in this way, the Shipyard can always count on the most solid and up-to-date expertise and knowhow. The heart of this continuous development process is the R&D Department that is daily engaged in anticipating future needs of the market, and is constantly in touch with universities and research centers to be updated on the latest innovations and research.
