About CoActive Communities

~Community Wellness in Action~~ CoActive Communities is a social enterprise intended to establish an affordable, aesthetically and evolutionarily designed 100 unit condominium village. Ranging from retirement to end of life, our main effort is to live well, purposefully and die in place. Through collaboration, we will support those who served - dedicated former military, first responder, caregivers, community volunteers and their partners. Residents have the opportunity to participate in three revenue generating, therapeutic businesses integral to the community, which will allow them to offset some of cost of living expenses. We encourage "autonomous connection" and "adaptive capacity", facilitating interaction among neighbors for social, practical, economic and environmental benefits. We believe in an age friendly environment - adapting traditional services and products to meet community needs and devising innovative ways to address health and social services system constraints. Linked to the determinants of health, the concerns of aging that are supported through this Action Plan: Engagement and Purpose, Financial Wellness, Mobility and Movement, Daily Living and Lifestyle, Caregiving, Care Coordination, Brain Health, and End of Life. CoA Communities will be the only community where every member serves each other with: engagement with passion driven activities, common purpose, devotion to duty and an assurance of community support in the years that follow retirement.
