Mollie C. Bivens is an occupational therapist with over 23 years of pediatric experience. She received her master's degree in occupational therapy in 1999 and worked in a pediatric occupational therapy clinic setting in New York for more than 5 years. While in New York, Mollie performed assessments as well as provided direct and consultative therapy to children in clinic, school, and home-based settings. She then traveled to Southern California where she received advanced training in sensory integration from experts in the field. Mollie gained her SIPT certification, provided social skills training, was promoted to supervisor, and developed an occupational therapy internship program bridging the gap between student and entry level occupational therapist. She then traveled to San Luis Obispo where she continues to provide quality care to pediatric clients. Currently, Mollie is the practice owner of an outpatient Occupational Therapy clinic, Coast Allied Health, in San Luis Obispo, CA. She lives on the beautiful Central Coast of California with her wonderful husband, a native to San Luis Obispo and their amazing son.
