Our research team is comprised of the most qualified and experienced clinical research leaders in the area. By partnering with volunteers from our community, we will all play a part in the success of bringing new, safe, and effective medications to market. Our Principal Investigator, Dr. Glenn Carter, board certified in Internal Medicine, has nearly 30 years of clinical research experience and has participated as a PI in several landmark clinical trials. The founder & CEO of Coastal Heritage Clinical Research, Ms. Sheila Bonner, has been in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry for nearly 20 years. Ms. Bonner has a diverse research background, including work on several vaccine studies, and also has research experience in the therapeutic areas of Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Women’s Health, Respiratory, Neurology, CV/Metabolic, Endocrine, and many more. We are also proud to introduce Dr. Lyudmila Carter and Ms. Jessica Waters, PA, as Sub-Investigators. In addition, we have two research nurses, who also act as coordinators, and a medical assistant coordinator. The site has over 5,000 square feet of dedicated space, in the upstairs portion of Dr. Carter's practice. All employees of Coastal Heritage Clinical Research have current GCP and IATA certification. The site is well equipped with a - 80 degrees Celsius freezer, a 2-8 degrees Celsius vaccine refrigerator, a – 20 degrees Celsius freezer, and an additional 2-8 degrees Celsius refrigerator. All refrigerators and freezers have 24 hour temperature monitoring. We also have medical scales, a stadiometer, an ECG, crash cart, all equipment for vitals, and a centrifuge. All equipment is new and has up-to-date calibration. There are four exam rooms, a large waiting room, a conference room, a lab, and two large, private monitoring rooms.
