Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (CCPB) is the local bottler and distributor for The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) in the Western - and Northern Cape. We are a thriving, growing company that delivers outstanding products made by amazing people. CCPB has been in business for more than 80 years, having first opened for business in 1940. Our state-of-the-art bottling facility is based in the greater Cape Town Metropolitan area, with distribution centres across the CCPB region. We have steadily increased our customer base, innovated new systems and world-class manufacturing practices across the group, and boosted our people count to more than 1350. Our products and brands include Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Stoney, Appletiser, Powerade, Bonaqua, PowerPlay, Schweppes, Sparletta and Monster amongst others. We work on a set of management systems that provide guidelines to ensure that the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality standards are maintained by conforming to Coca-Cola regulations, SABS, as well as required legislation. In South Africa, we find ourselves in a competitive environment that is filled with opportunities and challenges. The company faced a pivotal point with the announcement of a proposed tax on Sugar-Sweetened Drinks (SSDs) in 2016. This prompted a revitalisation of the business and the brand propositioning for its products. In so doing CCPB, has helped to set the benchmark as market leaders for the local beverage industry.
