Cocoon Airbag Protection is a Swedish Startup founded by parent and product designer Emma Garatea. Cocoon is the world's first bicycle child seat with a patented airbag system. We’re on a mission to make cycling with kids the easy choice for parents—building a sustainable future, an inclusive bike community, and a healthier planet, one ride at a time. Her idea took shape when she became a mother and was discouraged over the idea of cycling with her toddler. She got an overwhelming response from parents all over Sweden expressing their fear in traffic situations and realized that today's products do not offer parents the safety they need. With her background as a product designer and a special interest in safety, she decided it was time to find a solution to this problem. We are building the world's safest bicycle child seat to give our children the best possible protection in traffic.
