About Code the Gap

Code the Gap was created in 2020 with the mission to close the gender gap, break barriers, and the glass ceiling in STEM, specifically Computer Science. Every year Code the Gap board members recruit university students as volunteers, create a curriculum for our K-12 students, and partner with schools across the Twin Cities to give access to after-school programming classes in disadvantaged communities free of cost to all students.
