About Codekey Cookies

Codekey Cookies is a social enterprise founded by the blind, working on two social missions through the production of Braille cookies: - Break the social label and promote social inclusion - Discover our maximum potentials, explore and respect oneself and others. Our handmade Braille cookies are fun, edible and meaningful. Each Braille cookie represents an alphabet, which to be unlocked through a Braille chart for a hidden meaningful message. Customers can personalize their own messages, making the cookie a unique and delicious gift! Codekey Cookies has started selling mooncakes since its first year and we run cookie/mooncake workshops with schools and organizations. We collaborated with Dialogue in the Dark HK Foundation by having a mooncake workshop together with John Tsang and James Tien in 2017. Our baking workshop is a sharing session with fun and love, delivering positive messages to the community. Codekey Cookies is self-sustainable since establishment and has not received any formal fundings. More gratefully, we received the award “Customers’ Most Loving Social Enterprise” in 2018 Tithe Ethical Consumption Movement, which was a great recognition of our effort and the social impacts that we’ve made in the society.
