About Codesmith
Codesmith’s Software Engineering Immersive program is an advanced residency designed to help individuals launch a meaningful, high-level career in Software Engineering. We offer 13-week Full-Time Remote Immersive programs as well as a 38-week Part-Time Remote Immersive. Our pedagogy of block-driven development allows residents to become autonomous engineers capable of applying their knowledge effectively and learning new technologies on the spot. The Immersive programs teach full-stack JavaScript and computer science, and immerse you in modern web technologies, such as React and Node.js. By the end of your program, you will have built an impressive portfolio and demonstrated you know how to build and think like an engineer. Beyond the core curriculum, Codesmith prepares you to be a well-rounded engineer with a focus on 'soft engineering skills' and giving you the tool set needed to be a mid/senior level developer. It's not just about what you know - it's about how you go about solving it and communicating it! Codesmith offers extensive career support that guides residents through resume development, interview strategies, salary negotiation, & more. Residents receive career support for life whether they are on their first job search, second, or beyond. Plus, the supportive Codesmith community encourages learners to tackle unique and unfamiliar problems, important when preparing for the ever-changing tech landscape.
