About Coding In Color

Coding in Color is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support underserved students in computing with a primary focus on computer science education in Arizona. Coding in Color has partnered with organizations, community colleges and high schools to deliver computer science education to students throughout the Valley. Our services include: 1) Workshops: 1-2 hour events that gets students excited about computing with a simple project. 2) Hackathons: 6-12 hour events where students are introduced to computing and build a more in-depth project (I.e mobile app, web app, game, robots, algorithms) 3) Summer Camps: Week-long camps where students are exposed to a breadth of topics spanning from electricity, circuits, sensors, data science, ai, robotics and more. 4) Computer Science Courses: Semester to year-long courses for after school or for-credit high school students. Students learn the fundamentals of software development through building web applications. Courses in compliance with AZ CS Standards.
