At Coiled, we're pioneering the next generation of cancer therapeutics by identifying and disrupting key driver node pathways. One such critical player we've identified is Transforming Acidic Coiled-Coil Containing Protein 3 (TACC3). This isn't just any gene; TACC3 is a critical scaffolding protein, orchestrating multiple protein-protein interactions vital for processes like mitosis, DNA repair, and immunity. Its overexpression is a hallmark in many cancers, particularly those with chromosomal instability, and points to its significant role in disease. Our Phase 1 clinical asset, AO-252, is a first-in-class small molecule targeting TACC3, a critical oncogenic driver. We believe AO- 252 has the potential to redefine treatment for various advanced or metastatic cancers, including ovarian, endometrial, breast, prostate, gastric, sarcoma, bladder, and lung cancers.
