El Colegio Rafaela Ybarra es un Centro católico integrado que imparte enseñanzas de Educación Infantil, Educación Primaria, Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, Bachillerato, Formación Profesional: Ciclos Formativos de Grado Medio y Formación Profesional Básica (Antiguos PCPIs). La titularidad la ostentan las religiosas de los Ángeles Custodios. We are an educative catholic institution partially supported by a state subsidy (centro concertado) located in Madrid. We offer tuition and complementary services to 1,200 students at Kindergarden, Primary, Compulsory /Non-compulsory Secondary and Vocational Training levels. For that purpose, we count on a staff of around seventy teachers and a large group of non-teaching staff, all of whom are committed to our educative project. We are well aware of the importance to our new generations of students to have contact with people from other countries. That is the reason why we would be pleased to create links with English speaking schools either in the format of exchanges – e.g. a summer camp- or/and twinnings. In this regard, in the last few years some of our Primary and Secondary students have been participating in English language immersion activities both in Spain and London area. We would be interested in exchanging programmes within Leonardo da Vinci frame in which our students could do the traineeship period in companies located in your country and in return students from your institution would have the possibility of coming to Madrid in the same terms. We would be in charge of looking for Spanish companies for your students and Spanish families whose children study at school would be offering accommodation for free.
