Colgan Industries: Built to Fill a Void, Grown to Exceed Expectations! Colgan Industries began like many successful businesses—by recognizing a void in the market. We saw an underserved need in the civil construction industry for a supplier that delivered both high-quality products and a strong commitment to customer service. Our journey started in Southeast Texas, manufacturing anchor bolts for industrial contractors. From the outset, clients took notice of the unmatched responsiveness and attention to detail we brought to every project. The demand quickly grew. To meet it, we expanded—bringing on skilled machinists, welders, fitters, estimators, detailers, and project managers. Our capabilities evolved from anchor bolts to include embedded steel, bar grating, mechanical pipe supports, walkways, platforms, handrails, pipe bollards, and a wide range of miscellaneous steel products in carbon, stainless, and aluminum. But we didn’t stop there. We further expanded into engineered rebar fabrication, investing in advanced equipment and a highly capable team. This enabled us to take on even the largest, most complex jobs. We also began pre-tying foundations and pile cages at our yard to streamline installation in the field. Today, we operate out of three facilities in Beaumont and Dayton, Texas, as well as Gonzales, LA totaling 120,000 square feet of fabrication space. With in-house control over all aspects of fabrication, we provide clients with unmatched reliability, flexibility, and confidence. We understand that project schedules shift, and we pride ourselves on being agile partners who can adjust quickly. Looking ahead, we’re continuing to grow—adding concrete-related products to better serve our customers and further enhance our one-stop-shop offering.
