Collaborative Aggregates LLC (“CollAgg”) was founded in 2014 to manufacture, market, and sell engineered construction products that are designed (in conjunction with its affiliate, the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry) to adhere to the twelve guiding principles of Green Chemistry. CollAgg’s engineered construction products are designed to meet or exceed the product performance of competing technologies, at a realistic price-point, and in a manner that avoids the use of ingredients or processes that are harmful to consumers, producers, workers, or the environment. The first product, designed in house, and then pushed successfully through our research-and-development pipeline to full commercialization (in second quarter 2015) is Delta-S, a benign and sustainable asphalt additive that acts as a rejuvenator and warm mix chemistry. Based on Delta S is Delta Mist, a topical spray application used to rejuvenate asphalt pavement. Our second product is a formaldehyde- and isocyanate-free thermosetting resin system designed for use in a variety of engineered wood products, such as OSB, plywood, fiberboard, and many more. This system can easily be tailored to meet a wide range of price and performance goals. We are currently in discussions with potential industry partners to bring this product to market. Our Mission is to design, optimize and bring into widespread use a portfolio of high-performing, cost-competitive, and easy-to-use construction and infrastructure materials with dramatically improved human and environmental safety profiles.
