About Collat Jewish Family Services
Collat Jewish Family Services (CJFS) enhances quality of life and strengthens independence for individuals and families, with a primary focus on older adults, by providing exceptional support services in accordance with Jewish values. CJFS, a United Way partner agency, enables aging-in-place, supports mental health and wellbeing, and provides connection and community to a racially, religiously, and socioeconomically diverse population. Over 75% of our clients are over age 60 and more than half are not of the Jewish faith. Our seasoned professional staff; our comprehensive, client-centered approach to aging and mental health services; and our focus on the development of relationships built on compassion and respect are the keys to our 30+ year success in the Birmingham community.
