Traditional tampons are made from conventional cotton, which is one of the dirtiest crops out there; over 95% have 7 of the 10 toxins rated by the WHO as ‘moderately-to-highly’ hazardous, known to cause diseases, disruptions and reproductive related issues. We use approximately 11,000 tampons in our lifetime, which is why Collecteur was founded: to provide women with period care made with the highest certification of organic cotton, free of all harmful ingredients.
