About Collecting Colour Design Studio
Based in New York, our textile design studio specialises in creating thoughtfully curated collections of prints, embellishments and embroideries, each with a rich story to tell. At Collecting Colour, we believe colour is a powerful emotive tool that can create harmony, balance, and consistency. It is the first thing people observe in the garments we wear and the spaces within our homes, the impact is instantaneous. Our collections start with hand-dyed silk swatches in colour palettes inspired by the season. We work with a select group of talented designers from all over the world who bring their unique skills and fresh perspectives. We feature a mix of original and vintage designs and specialise in womenswear and childrenswear, as well as home furnishings. Collecting Colour was founded by London born textile designer Sandra Nunes in 2014. A graduate of Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, Sandra brings 18 years of experience working for high-end Parisian designers and major American retailers.
