Founded in 2021, Collective Agency is a development and communications collective based in Oakland, CA. Our firm partners bring resources — material, people, creative, and otherwise — to social, racial, economic, and environmental justice endeavors we believe in. We’re great at connecting people and ideas, seeing the big picture, shaping the vision, writing convincing prose, and making complicated things simpler. We share a relentless commitment to practical, logical plans, high-quality deliverables, and concrete results. Our strengths are in grant writing and planning (with decades of specialization in public funding), building donor programs, and telling an organization’s story through creative communications.
