Collegiate Charities is an organization based in Bloomington, Indiana, which provides services to non-profit organizations to assist with event planning, coordination, development and promotion of non-profit events. Collegiate Charities works closely with college students at a multiple universities in and around the United States, in particular the Midwest. Collegiate Charities utilizes the services -- through paid and non-paid internship positions -- including students at Indiana University (Bloomington), University of Minnesota, University of Missouri, University of Illinois, University of Michigan and Miami (of Ohio). One of the leading promotions of Collegiate Charities is Drop the Puck on Cancer, which is an annual event involving several Indiana University fraternity houses. In 2011, through the work with Attorney Carl Lamb, the Sigma Chi's and Beta's at Indiana University, Drop the Puck on Cancer was formed. See www.droppingthepuck.com. In a very short period of time, Collegiate Charities has taken the model created by Drop the Puck on Cancer to various universities in developing several fundraising competitive collegiate greek hockey events.
