Collegiate Underwriting: Collegiate policy holders are served by a committed team of underwriters and claims handlers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in delivering a bespoke PI service. Collegiate insure small to medium sized firms within the Financial, Professional, Construction and Property sectors including; Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), Mortgage Brokers, Finance Brokers, Surveyors, and many more. In addition to the traditional professions Collegiate Underwriting also cover an extensive range of Miscellaneous and modern professions. Collegiate work with individual businesses requiring professional indemnity cover as well as Insurance Brokers wishing to obtain PI on behalf of their clients. Every policy is assessed on its individual merits from Accountants to Arborists and individuals to national firms. All policies are supported by in-house legal team Collegiate Claims. Policy holders are allocated a dedicated claims handler from the date a problem is identified to assist in resolving the matter competently. Collegiate Claims: In today’s competitive environment the quality of the claims handling is an area where it is clearly possible to differentiate between one Insurer and another. Our robust commercial approach is underpinned by a sound technical ability enabling us to deliver a first class service to our Insurer and underwriting partners.
