Collins & Collins, P.C. represents clients in the areas of civil rights, personal injury and wrongful death throughout New Mexico in state and federal court. Our history with medical malpractice led us to our current passion for prisoners’ health. We began investigating prison medical neglect and abuse in mid-2017. The medical neglect and abuse of prisoners in New Mexico prisons and jails goes far beyond anything we have seen in our medical malpractice experience and beyond anything we could have imagined. Many of the cases are truly horrifying, which has led our firm to file more prison medical neglect lawsuits than all other New Mexico firms and organizations combined since our first suit was filed in early 2018. Consequently, our firm anticipates filing many more lawsuits and will continue to do so until the medical care meets basic standards of care.
