About Colorado Bears Field Hockey

The Colorado Bears Field Hockey Academy offers elite field hockey training for girls ages 4-18. Our mission is to provide a fun, competitive and safe environment that prepares our athletes to perform at the collegiate level and beyond. We do this by delivering world class coaching and a training environment that cultivates healthy competition, teamwork, a sense of community, and a focus on skill development at all ages. Technically and tactically, we teach our players to have strong field vision, a pass-first mentality, attacking mindset, and the ability to make good decisions under pressure. Together, we focus on elimination skills, first touch, passing and receiving on the move, shooting to score, defending to win, and positive leadership on and off the field. We hope that through their experience with the Colorado Bears, our group of young women will develop into strong, confident, and powerful leaders in the classroom, work environment, in their personal lives and beyond.
