About Colorado SWANA Rocky Mountain Chapter
The Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of SWANA (Solid Waste Association of North America) is an organization of more than 200 public and private section professionals committed to the advancement of the Solid Waste Management Industry in Colorado and the greater Rocky Mountain region. In 1979, the founding members and initial organization of the Chapter was accepted into the Colorado Governmental Refuse Collection and Disposal Association and the articles of incorporation were filed with the Colorado Secretary of State on 1983. The name of the organization was changed in 1986 to the “Colorado Rocky Mountain Governmental Refuse Collection and Disposal Association” and changed in 1994 to the current configuration, “Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA).” Please see our newsletter here: https://www.coloradoswana.org/newsletters-1
