About Colorado Youth Bands
Colorado Youth Bands (formerly Colorado Honor Band Association) is a year-round, non-profit organization that teaches instrumental music to students ages 8-18. Colorado Youth Bands is an after-school, extracurricular program offering five levels of instruction, including a beginner level for students who have never picked up an instrument before. There is a small membership fee to join the organization, but student scholarships are also offered to families in need. Students meet once a week to rehearse in small groups and together as a big group. The organization offers performance opportunities as well as weekend workshops and Summer Camp.
