About ColoREADo

ColoREADo’s mission is to eliminate illiteracy and sub-literacy for Colorado’s students through exceptional alliances and state of the art instruction. ColoREADo’s dream is to revolutionize the way students are taught to read. Our work will ensure the deployment of the best practices across our state. Our partners are community organizations and schools. Together, we invest in training and mentoring tutors and teachers in Evidence Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI). These instructors teach students to read, write and spell, changing their lives and quantitatively demonstrating what works. ColoREADo will steadily broaden our network, offering more training each year. Our ambitious goal is to secure funding for intervention teachers in all 179 districts across the state the opportunity to apply for and train with ColoREADo. At ColoREADo we believe all children can learn to read and write. Our ambition is enormous. Join our movement.
