Colossal Concrete Products is a proudly black women-owned and controlled level 1 B-BBEE precast concrete manufacturer of a wide range of railway sleepers, poles and masts, pipes and culverts, enclosures and related specialised concrete products. With facilities in Brakpan, Gauteng and De Aar, Northern Cape, Colossal Concrete Products is strategically positioned to supply the industry with key concrete products across South Africa and the SADC region - and has been doing so for more than 65 years, as the company was formerly operated by Aveng Infraset pre-2021, with the first concrete rail sleepers being cast in 1958. Colossal Concrete Products manufactures products in compliance with South African National Standards (SANS) using the ISO 9001 quality management system, and holds licensed trademarks and intellectual property for Infrabolt, Durasafe, Duratank, THOSTI and Abetong; as well as delivering railway products from rail safety regulator-approved sidings at its Brakpan and De Aar manufacturing facilities. Under new leadership - which has many years of experience in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, as well as a common unified belief in the future of South Africa - Colossal Concrete Products commits to manufacture all products with the same care and quality as it has always done over the past five decades, with the support of an enhanced sales, operations and technical team.
