About Colt Recycling
Founded in 1993, Colt has grown to become a leading player in the electronics recycling industry. With a focus on sustainability and technological innovation, the company has consistently delivered cutting-edge solutions for transforming waste into valuable resources. Colt boasts a wealth of experience spanning more than three decades in the field of e-scrap recycling services. Leveraging its team's expertise, the company has introduced revolutionary methods for processing diverse electronic waste materials, including precious metals, plastics, ferrous and nonferrous metals. The company's solutions prioritize both environmental responsibility and economic viability. Colt Recycling has turnkey processing facilities in Southern New Hampshire as well as Hickory, North Carolina. Our unique processing system selectively dismantles E-Scrap, introducing sub-assemblies into our custom designed shred and separation equipment. The by-products from the system are reduced to ½ inch sized particles that are used as feedstock supplied to various outlets supporting the production of raw materials. Our asset recovery services compliment our recycling capabilities. Equipment received for asset recovery flows through a process of serialized tracking, inventory, testing, and remarketing. This can include component level and/or complete systems. Products that are not re-marketable are reintroduced into our recycling system. In June of 2023, Colt was acquired by Elemental Holdings Group (Elemental). Elemental is a leading global urban mining and recycling organization, with presence in 35 countries spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and United States.
