For 134 years, Columbus Humane has been sheltering homeless animals, fighting animal cruelty and neglect, and offering programs to address the needs of animals in our community. More than 92 percent of our funding is provided by donations and fees for services. We are not a government agency, and we do not receive general operating support from national organizations. Columbus Humane relies on the support of private donors and volunteers to make our work possible. Since 1883, Columbus Humane has been dedicated to providing only the highest quality of care for everyone we serve, animals and people alike.
