About Com-Video Productions
I’m retired from ComVideo Production’s commercial work and am now producing just the documentaries I always wanted to make. This January started year two of The Estuary Bay. I’m looking at the Bay of Green Bay with an eye towards fish, birds, and plants and the many changes that have occurred over the years. I’ve been all around the circumference of Green Bay and on the water filming interesting stories. The result will be a one-hour documentary on Green Bay. It could also be two one-hour films. There is a lot of great material. The Estuary Bay is the third film in a trilogy on northeastern Wisconsin. The first was The Great Ledge (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/tgl) that was released in 2017 and was broadcast by PBS Wisconsin. The second was The Power of the River (https://vimeo.com/ondemand/foxriver) in 2023 and it was also broadcast by PBS Wisconsin. As a point of disclosure, I am not affiliated with PBS Wisconsin, the programs are provided at no cost, and I do not receive compensation. The documentaries are for educational purposes and available to any schools that want to use the films. The Estuary Bay will complete the series. All three features, the Niagara Escarpment, the Lower Fox River, and Green Bay have affected Wisconsin in amazing ways and the many places identified in the documentaries are great destinations that people can visit and experience. I’m about ready to make a trailer for The Estuary Bay and hope to have that done soon. The documentary is planned for release in late 2025.
