About comagogo
Comagogo was founded by Jed Fraser to make first class international communications available to client companies whatever their size. Jed is a UK citizen who spent ten years based in Switzerland as global head of marketing communications for a multinational with 40,000 employees and $6 billion turnover. His work took him all over the world, analyzing, delivering and evaluating communication solutions. Previously he worked as a multimedia designer then marketeer for clients ranging from Alfred Dunhill to Nokia to the Bank of England. From Marks & Spencer to Scottish Power and UK Government departments. Jed says: "I have worked a lot in Russia, especially filming, and always got good support from the Moscow police controlling traffic and passers-by etc. But only after listening to local advice to understand the right approach - and terms. And even then I ended up twice in the back of a police car with my passport confiscated while a Russian colleague negotiated my release. Both times it was because we took shortcuts. Not getting permission high enough up the ladder to film a car driving in Red Square. Not getting any authorization at all to film at a national monument, then watching in horror as the squad car homed in on the crew member who was using a tree instead of the public WC that was locked. But of course there were many other times - in Russia and elsewhere - when we “got away with it” untroubled, without the delays - and possible refusal - of formal permission. Working anywhere you have to take decisions on the spot. And bear the possible consequences. So if you don’t want to take any risks at all - don’t do anything. You won’t get arrested, but then you won’t have a very long or successful career in communications either."
