Situated at the crossroads between academic research and innovative technologies, Combustion Bay One (CBOne) is an engineering platform situated in Graz, Austria. We specialise on combustion systems with reduced fuel burn, reduced environmental impact and enlarged combustion range. Novel burner designs is a key competence at CBOne. Our expertise covers the state-of-the-art, including leading-edge designs in terms of combustion performance, low emission, safety, and flexibility. We cover all steps of prototype burners development: the definition of the KPIs, the dimensioning, the technological choices regarding material methods and instrumentation, the advanced model including CFD, the CAD, the follow-up of manufacturing, the final assembly, the function testing and characterisation. Since 2017, Additive Manufacturing with Selective Laser Melting are part of our portfolio.
