Comet Ridge Limited (ASX: COI) is a publicly-listed Australian energy company focused on the development of gas resources for the east coast Australian market. The Company is primarily focused on its Mahalo Gas Hub assets in Queensland. The most advanced of these, the Mahalo Gas Project, has Petroleum Leases (PLs) awarded and is Comet Ridge’s flagship gas project. When in production, the project will provide the scale and infrastructure to underpin the development of Comet Ridge’s other 100% owned blocks in the Mahalo Gas Hub. These projects are low-cost, sales spec gas projects close to infrastructure connecting to domestic markets and the Gladstone LNG export market. Our Exploration assets are undergoing permit renewal applications and upon award, offer longer-term upside amid very strong domestic and international demand for gas as a source of cleaner energy.
