About Coming Together For A Cure | Non Profit
Coming Together for a Cure, (CTFAC) began in 2009 as a grassroots fundraiser to benefits its founder, Ryan Benton. CTFAC is now a non-profit organization making global strides in the fight against incurable diseases. At the age of three Ryan Benton was diagnosed with a terminal disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Twenty years later, Ryan became the first person in the World with his disease to be successfully treated with adult stem cell therapy. Our mission is to advance support for adult stem cell therapy, so people with incurable diseases are given a fighting chance. We accomplish our goals by: - Raising awareness and educating the community on the science and efficacy associated with adult stem cell therapy - Hosting fundraising events to generate financial support for continued research and therapy - Connecting with people around the world seeking to learn more about the processes involved in gaining access to the therapy
