About Commercial Scaffolding

Based in Kingston Upon Hull in East Yorkshire, Commscaf is focused on providing scaffolding services to commercial and industrial enterprises. We are registered with CISRS and with the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation. Since our formation in 1990 we have built a strong, steady reputation for providing safe, high quality scaffolding services. We have delivered projects to industrial, commercial and local authority clients in addition to the construction industry. Our Scaffolding Team received the British Aerospace Chairman’s Silver Award for Innovation in 1999, and in 2012 we received a Good Mark Award from the Hull Civic Society for providing scaffolding to enable cleaning of the Cenotaph War Memorial in Paragon Square, Hull. We offer a complete design service, with scaffolding systems tailored to the requirements of each project. We provide Layher Allround, Protec panelling, traditional tube and fitting scaffolding and a semi-system scaffold with tube lock and telescopic transoms. Although our primary focus is to provide commercial scaffolding we can also supply scaffolding services for residential projects. The directors and senior management have over 80 years experience in the scaffolding industry. All managers carry a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) card. Our 22 operatives are trained to a minimum of CISRS standards, with some holding a Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) card. We carry out a minimum 7 day scaffolding safety inspection on all projects and a three monthly check on all harnesses and lanyards. The safety of workers and the general public is always our main priority. All our experience is brought together with the focus on providing a safe, efficient and cost effective scaffolding service to our customers.
