Common Goal Systems, a private company founded in 2001, develops and markets Internet services to the educational market. TeacherEase, our first product, came on-line for the 2001-02 school year. The company has been profitable since 2004. SchoolInsight was released in 2006. Our services are currently in use by over 1000 schools, 30,000 teachers, and 300,000 parents/students. Our goals are to: Improve Teachers' Quality of Life Teachers should do less clerical work, freeing time to be more effective in the classroom, and spend a little less time working over the weekend. Increase Student Learning Today's students need education to become the productive citizens of tomorrow. Inform and Involve Parents Parents can be a great asset if properly involved. Informing parents allows them to positively contribute to their children's education. Help Schools Function Better Schools should have high-tech information infrastructure to function efficiently. Staff should have the right tools to efficiently collect, report, and manage information.
