Founded by a Speech Therapist and a Teacher/ Inclusion Consultant, Commspec is grounded in both lived experience and evidence-based practice. Our new platform, MyComms, is now live – a personalised visual supports app that’s changing the way Australians support comprehension, agency and self-determination. From daily schedules to task breakdowns and weekly calendars, it helps people of all ages – and the professionals who support them – create dynamic, accessible communication tools in real time. Designed for families, speech pathologists, teachers, support workers, aged care and hospital staff – MyComms puts the power of communication in the hands of the person it’s meant to support. Recently featured at national conferences including AGOSCI, NCEIDH and Speech Pathology Australia, MyComms is already being embraced in homes, clinics, schools and aged care settings across the country.
