About Community Action Malvern & District

Community Action is a local charity that works to combat isolation and loneliness experienced by local older and disabled people. Not only do we help people by providing community transport so they are not stuck at home alone, struggling to make vital hospital appointments or to see their local doctors, we also run events and groups people can come to to make new friends and enjoy new activities. If you live or work in the Malvern area you may have seen our community buses or wheelchair accessible vehicles or you may have heard of our car service where volunteers use their own vehicles to help people get out and about. These are just some of the many services provided by Community Action Malvern and District. And if you would like to get involved, we also help you to find the volunteering opportunity that works for you within your local area, either with us or with our many partners. This is a service we run in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council, to encourage more people into volunteering and for our local community groups to get the support they need.
