CAPNM provides social services and advocacy, together with local partners, to alleviate poverty, improve lives and strengthen communities in the Flathead, Lake, Lincoln and Sanders Counties. ABOUT US CAPNM has been helping people, improving lives and strengthening communities since 1976. We serve individuals/families by identifying and using available community resources and service to promote long-term self-sufficiency. The nation’s 1,000+ Community Action Agencies are a robust, state, and local force– reaching children and families in 99% of America’s counties with life-changing services that create pathways to prosperity. PROGRAMS CAPNM continues to target hard-to-serve individuals by focusing on blending available resources and services, which promote long-term solutions for individuals to build independence. Different aspects of a client's life are addressed including housing, budgeting, medical, job training and education, eventually leading to self-sufficiency. GET INVOLVED 100% of all donations stay in our service area. All proceeds raised, through your generous donation, directly benefit our most vulnerable neighbors, including veterans, children, the elderly and the homeless. Although CAPNM operates with a variety of funding sources, many of our programs do not have the necessary funding to support everything they do.
