Community Bank • Homebush and North Ryde was founded by 350 local community Shareholders in 2002 (when other Banks closed their physical branches in Homebush), at the time, it was known as Homebush Community Bank and later renamed to Community Bank Homebush. In May 2025, the Community Bank acquired the rights to operate the Community Bank North Ryde and became known collectively as Community Bank • Homebush and North Ryde. Community Bank Homebush was Bendigo Bank's 1st Sydney metropolitan and 2nd Greater Sydney Community Bank branch and Community Bank North Ryde was the 150th Community Bank and 300th Bendigo Bank branch in Australia. The Community Bank works on a key promise of growing with our Communities and has two core objectives: 1. to ensure the Branch is sustained for local residents for years to come 2. to contribute to community outcomes through engagement and funding Banking with us allows our customers to access the entire Bendigo and Adelaide Bank network. Further, customers know that the profits we make after we cover costs, go back to fulfil our core objectives.
