About Community Driving School

We are the first Community Programme focused on getting people into employment through "earning" their driving lessons by volunteering in their local community. In return, they will receive bespoke driver training, confidence building, CV Writing, Mentor Support and an opportunity to transform their lives. We rely on business support through sponsorship of one of our many packages designed to enhance your company Corporate Social Responsibility. The programme is spreading through Kent, East Sussex and Hampshire and we are seeking more sponsors to back us and help their communities thrive. This quote from actor Denzil Washington sums up what companies need to do in order to keep themselves going, particularly following the calamity of 2020; “At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” If a business doesn't have a community to support it, the business dies. By giving back to your community through small, local causes, you can survive the toughest economic times. You will have given those members of your community a chance to become something beyond their hopes and they will remember that. Think of it this way, diamonds are not found on the surface.
