About Community Family Care

Community Family Care was set up to provide community based family support services to the local community in Gloucestershire. We aim to provide training, support and guidance to families. Our purpose is to enable children and families to stay together, and through our carefully planned and managed support packages, we will support those we work with to make the changes necessary in order to improve the lives of their children. We anticipate our services being useful to children who need a special friend to help them along the difficult path to adulthood, to children who are separated from their birth families, and to children whose parents need some help to look after them. It might be that a child needs somebody to help their parents, or that the parents need somebody to help the child but either way we are committed to delivering an excellent service and to do it with enthusiasm and where appropriate a smile on our faces. Our staff team are child centred and creative in the way they work with children and we recognise that whilst every child matters – every child is also an individual.
