About Community for Youth

Community for Youth (CfY) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on youth mentorship. We connect Seattle-area high schoolers with a compatible adult mentor and a supportive network of peers and adults. Our mission is to inspire and support students to be their best selves through mentoring, learning experiences, and a powerful community. At CfY, mentorship meets community to create a network of support that can connect students with the resources, self awareness, knowledge, and skills they need to define their own success and achieve their own goals. CfY offers two key programs: - Learning Communities, our core program which follows the academic year (October - June) and features weekly in-person meetings that rotate between one-on-ones, small group activities, and community workshops. - CfY Duos, our flexible and introductory program in which each match will commit to scheduling one-to-one sessions twice a month for 6 months.
