About Community Health Action Network, CHAN
Community Health Action Network, CHAN is non-profit organization serving the High Desert region of Southern California since 2007. CHAN advocates for health equity and provides emergency services to families in need. Our Emergency Assistance Program, EAP provides services like food/grocer gift cards, utility/rental assistance, and baby essentials (car seats, diapers, wipes) to support families who have been marginalized and disenfranchised. CHAN also offers financial literacy classes in efforts to empower residents to take charge of building generational wealth for their families. CHAN recognizes the social determinants of health that affect this population and provides service, resources and tools to support our residents. Healthy families. Healthy communities.
