About Community Housing Solutions of Guilford
Community Housing Solution (CHS) is a small, local non-profit in Guilford County, North Carolina. We provide home repairs to low income homeowners who may not be able to provide necessary repairs to their homes. Our six person highly skilled construction staff lead volunteers on these repairs as we leverage our donor dollars and create the most impact. Common repairs include accessibility modifications for older and disabled homeowners, water damage repairs, and repairing heating sources. CHS completes repairs on about 100 homes annually. Other programs offered by CHS include our neighborhood stabilization program, where we purchase and renovate homes in target neighborhoods, reselling them to low income families to promote home ownership and enhance the community. In 2015, CHS also began on our first new construction neighborhood in-fill projects for the City of High Point in the South Side neighborhood. #restoringhope
