Community Investment Services LImited is a company dedicated to encouraging more investment into the Responsible Finance sector through the use of the Government's Community Investment Tax Relief (CITR) scheme. The company has been established by Seb Aslan and Rob Freeman who were previously the Civil Servants responsible for the administration of the programme for Government. Together they have more than 30 years experience of the public sector, detailed knowledge of the legislation governing the CITR and of the accreditation and monitoring processes adopted by the Government in relation to the programme. Services Support in design and structuring funds in way which is CITR compliant whilst maximising the benefit they can provide the CDFI and end beneficiary businesses. Project management support in getting a CITR fund up an running. Guidance on completing the BIS accreditation document (what to include, wording, BIS contacts etc) and support guiding an accreditation through the process with BIS and HMRC as necessary. Support in ensuring investors understand the scheme and benefits. Set up the yearly Government reporting systems and spreadsheets and advice on likely evidence that BIS may require in the future. Training on completing the annual returns. Any ad hoc work or advice relating to the scheme. Update on any changes to rules and regulations on the scheme.
