About Community Micro Lending Society

Community Micro Lending facilitates loans between lenders and borrowers in the Greater Victoria community. We're starting small. For now, we'll accept investment and a loan committee made up of board members and staff will vet all loan applications. Community Micro Lending will also support borrowers in their applications for micro loans through our financial partner, Vancity. But soon, you'll be able to login right here and lend and borrow directly to and from people in your own community. Stay tuned for web-enabled peer to peer (P2P) lending made local. Community Micro Lending Society’s borrowers are local citizens who needed a small loan and the mentorship and support that comes with it to take action and change their own lives. They are turning their dreams into a reality, creating local jobs, and embarking on business or employment opportunities with a socially conscious focus. At the same time they are contributing to a sustainable local economy and helping our community to flourish. Please support their businesses!
